Recent research has shown that high frequency sounds cause the stirrup muscle to move in a different way, introducing a new type of stimulation to the auditory pathways in the brain. The Audio Activation program is designed to re-activate both the ear itself and the audio-neural connections. It is helpful for:

Albums

This Sound Therapy Level 3 program introduces new techniques not previously used in Sound Therapy recording.

• The albums specifically target parts of the auditory system that require greater stimulation.
• Certain selections are reinforced with a dual filtering process. A gently filtered passage is overlaid with a very stimulating and highly filtered track. This results in the ear being opened and the relevant brain centres being stimulated simultaneously.

The Mini MX2 player is preloaded with four 80-90 minute music albums.

When the ear has been damaged by noise or other factors, there is limited response in its structures and nerve system to some sounds. This album is geared to gaining auditory attention so that parts of the auditory system that have been in effect “sleeping” may be prompted to respond and take notice.

Hearing is essentially a dance of give and take between the ear and brain. This is played out in this very active music which will get the cilia "dancing" and sending rapid signals back and forth to various neural centres. Resonant harmonies are used to inspire greater activity in the auditory cortex.

Album 3: Earobics

The auditory system becomes weakened through years of abuse or misuse. The absence of high frequency sounds is like malnutrition, for this is the food of the nervous system. "Earobics" is a concentrated ear work-out, training the ear muscles with ever more challenging frequencies.

A new advance in Sound Therapy was introduced by Patricia Joudry where certain selections are reinforced with a dual filtering process. On this album a gently filtered passage is overlaid with a very stimulating and highly filtered track to engage the activation of numerous neuronal pathways.

MINI MX2 Player and Headphones

Weighing just 10 grams and as small as a book of matches, the MINI MX2 offers the convenience of Sound Therapy on the go as well as the flexibility to be used with most high quality headphones.

It has a built in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery with up to 8 hours of playback (AC charger included).

The MINI MX2 includes a set of premium Sennheiser headphones wiith in-line volume control. These earphones have been specially selected for compatibility with the MINI MX2 to optimise your listening comfort and results.

To ensure successful Sound Therapy listening we recommend that you only use these or the other headphones sold on this site. Not all headphones are suitable for use with the MINI MX2 or for Sound Therapy.

Level 3 Workbook

The Audio Activation Workbook introduces specific audio training exercises for further awakening the auditory pathways and helping to overcome stubborn hearing loss or other difficulties related to poor auditory performance.

Personal one-on-one support

Free support is provided for most programs for 3 months (or 6 months for the Family Program) via an email-based Listener Support Program.

Additional professional support is available from qualified Senior Sound Therapist and Audiometric Officer Simone Carot Collins for a small fee. Simone is able to answer any questions you may have, review your progress, help you maintain motivation and ensure that any temporary setbacks, technical problems or health questions do not interfere with your listening results.

Simone brings 8 years of experience as a Sound Therapy consultant together with first-hand experience as a Sound Therapy user, and offers a wealth of knowledge for how to make the most of your program and other changes you can make to reap as much benefit from Sound Therapy as possible.
