This new Level 2 program on a Sound Therapy Ultra Light player uses newly developed recording techniques which are more subtle and yet more effective. Building Ear Brain Connections uses varied techniques which gently stretches and enhances your ear function.

Each album addresses a different aspect of hearing, working both on the ear itself and the auditory brain pathways.

The player is built into the headset and comes pre-loaded with your Sound Therapy program. The clever design with flexible wire band and three sizes of soft ear plugs means the player fits any head size and is extremely comfortable.

Postage

Orders are usually sent within 24 hours of receipt of payment. We will notify you as soon as possible of any known delay, such as items on back order or postal strikes.

Within Australia: All Sound Therapy programs are sent by registered post. Please allow a full week for items sent by registered post within Australia to arrive.

Internationally: Sound Therapy programs are sent by Express Post International (EPI) where possible, or by registered airmail. Parcels sent by EPI have a tracking code which enable you to check the progress of your delivery. Parcels sent via EPI to large cities usually arrive within a week; parcels sent to smaller towns or via airmail may take longer.

Please note that import restrictions in some countries, particularly the Middle East, may not make it possible to send Sound Therapy to you. If in doubt, please contact us before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Ultra Light

How do you work the Ultra Light?

The right ear piece contains an on off switch and 3 small buttons for pausing the music, advancing forward or back to the next album, and adjusting the volume. They can be used without looking at them once you remember which is which.

The Ultra Light comes with a recharger which plugs into the wall - there are no batteries to change. Your Ultra Light is pre-charged so you can use it as soon as you receive it. When the charge is getting low (it takes longer and longer for the music to start), plug it into the wall for up to 2 hours to recharge. You will know when your Ultra Light is recharged as the green light on the charger will have dimmed.

Your Ultra Light comes with easy to follow instructions to help you learn how to use it. If you see Simone in person, she will walk you through how to use the Ultra Light.

Is it an iPod or MP3 player? Wasn't I told that I can't rip my Sound Therapy CDs to my iPod?

The Sound Therapy Ultra Light is one of the first players which has sufficient storage and the right technology for high quality playback to support the type of high frequency rich sound files needed for Sound Therapy.

Standard MP3 players or iPods deliver a low quality digital format which is not suitable for Sound Therapy.

The internal mechanism of the Sound Therapy Ultra Light has been specially engineered for our specific requirements, so even if you have a player which has a similar external design, you need a specific Sound Therapy Ultra Light for use with Sound Therapy programs.

Can I store my other music files on my Ultra Light, or download these files to my computer?

No, your Ultra Light is specifically made for Sound Therapy and is not intended for playing other music. It cannot be accessed using standard music loading programs.

The Sound Therapy Ultra Light comes pre-loaded and the files are protected to prevent accidental alteration or loss.

Can you sleep with the Ultra Light on?

Though it is not as flat as some headphones, the Ultra Light is fine for sleeping on your back. It is possible to lie on your side if you have a soft pillow.

Listening Program

The Ultra Light player is preloaded with four 90 minute music albums. A bonus CD is included which contains a 60 minute visualisation to reduce stress, anxiety or tinnitus.

Album 1: Calming the Ear (90 minutes)

"Calming the Ear" contains frequencies that are soothing and will gently massage the ear while encouraging more responsiveness in a particular frequency range. This album can be used repeatedly to help habituate and prepare the ear for more advanced albums. Particularly good for those with tinnitus or hyperacusis.

Album 2: Opening the Ear (90 minutes)

"Opening the Ear" gradually introduces wider tonal fluctuations, giving the ear muscles a gentle workout, while simultaneously enticing the perception, through the auditory cortex, to stretch and open to higher frequencies. When the middle ear opens and becomes receptive to the higher frequencies, these frequencies can then stimulate the inner ear and begin to activate the auditory neural pathways.

Album 3: Listening Clarity (90 minutes)

"Listening Clarity" draws your attention with beautiful melodies gently increasing the range of perception of tones and frequencies. It provides the type of stimulation that may assist you to hear more clearly in difficult situations and background noise.

Album 4: Opening to Full Spectrum (90 minutes)

This album introduces a new form of filtering devised by Patricia Joudry and refined by Rafaele Joudry. Two bands of music are combined to subtly stimulate and enhance the ear's responsiveness to a varied range of frequencies. You will hardly notice the added high frequencies which join the music intermittently, stimulating greater responsiveness of the auditory pathways at the same time as the ear muscles are being activated.

Album 5 (Bonus CD): Visualisation to Reduce Stress, Anxiety or Tinnitus

A 15 minute visualization followed by calming Sound Therapy music, this CD is an important part of auditory healing. It can be used daily if you are suffering from tinnitus, stress or anxiety. It is also beneficial as a general relaxation for anyone, to enhance your receptivity to Sound Therapy and enable the building of new and beneficial ear-brain connections.
