Ultra Light Listening Foundation Program
Years of researching new technologies has resulted in our own specifically engineered playback device which meets Sound Therapy's requirements of high fidelity playback, extensive storage capacity, comfort, convenience and ease of use: Ultra Light.
With the launch of the new Ultra Light technology in 2010, a new program of music called the Sound Therapy Listening Foundation Program has been released.
The player is built into the headset and comes pre-loaded with your Sound Therapy program. The clever design with flexible wire band and soft ear plugs means the player fits any head size and is extremely comfortable.
Whether you are a brand new listener or one who has used Sound Therapy tapes or CDs, this all new music on a high fidelity format is a perfect start or valuable addition to your listening program.

Postage
Orders are usually sent within 24 hours of receipt of payment. We will notify you as soon as possible of any known delay, such as items on back order or postal strikes.
Within Australia: Sound Therapy Ultra Light and Mini programs are sent by Express Post. Since these players contain Lithium ion batteries, they are transported by road, so delivery may take several days.
Internationally: Sound Therapy Ultra Light and Mini programs are sent by a courier which specialises in transporting Lithium ion batteries by air. Please contact Simone for a quote to have a program shipped to you.
Please note that import restrictions in some countries, particularly the Middle East, may not make it possible to send Sound Therapy to you. If in doubt, please contact us before ordering.

- Listeners Guide: addresses all the frequently asked technical and clinical questions, tips on further information and step by step instructions to ensure your listening success.
- Listener Profile: a detailed self assessment system which will diagnose the need and areas of probable benefit of using Sound Therapy for you.
- Listening Routine Assessment: a testing document that assists you to easily work out your personalised listening routine based on your level of auditory and neurological fitness.
- Listeners Log and Progress Summary: a simple diary system for those who wish to use it which adds value to your program by increasing self awareness and reflection and assists your consultant to provide more informed support.

Ongoing professional support is available from Simone when you purchase a program through Sound Therapy Perth.
Please contact Simone to have any questions answered, review your progress, help you maintain motivation and ensure that any temporary setbacks, technical problems or health questions do not interfere with your listening results. Phone and email support is included at no extra charge, and a small fee ($30 per half hour) is charged for those who would like to sit down in person and discuss progress in more detail.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Ultra Light
How do you work the Ultra Light?
The right ear piece contains an on off switch and 3 small buttons for pausing the music, advancing forward or back to the next album, and adjusting the volume. They can be used without looking at them once you remember which is which.
The Ultra Light comes with a recharger which plugs into the wall - there are no batteries to change. Your Ultra Light is pre-charged so you can use it as soon as you receive it. When the charge is getting low (it takes longer and longer for the music to start), plug it into the wall for up to 2 hours to recharge. You will know when your Ultra Light is recharged as the green light on the charger will have dimmed.
Your Ultra Light comes with easy to follow instructions to help you learn how to use it. If you see Simone in person, she will walk you through how to use the Ultra Light.
Is it an iPod or MP3 player? Wasn't I told that I can't rip my Sound Therapy CDs to my iPod?
The Sound Therapy Ultra Light is one of the first players which has sufficient storage and the right technology for high quality playback to support the type of high frequency rich sound files needed for Sound Therapy.
Standard MP3 players or iPods deliver a low quality digital format which is not suitable for Sound Therapy.
The internal mechanism of the Sound Therapy Ultra Light has been specially engineered for our specific requirements, so even if you have a player which has a similar external design, you need a specific Sound Therapy Ultra Light for use with Sound Therapy programs.
Can I store my other music files on my Ultra Light, or download these files to my computer?
No, your Ultra Light is specifically made for Sound Therapy and is not intended for playing other music. It cannot be accessed using standard music loading programs.
The Sound Therapy Ultra Light comes pre-loaded and the files are protected to prevent accidental alteration or loss.
Can you sleep with the Ultra Light on?
While it's possible, we don't recommend it, as the unit is very fragile. The Mini MX player is a better option for listening in bed.
